Dr Shadhiya has spent more than ten years in general practice, and her particular interests are the parts of dentistry where the work has to both function properly and look right: veneers and cosmetic work, crowns, dentures and other prosthetic treatment, and root canal treatment.
Those three areas overlap more than people expect. A root canal that saves a front tooth is only a success if the tooth still matches its neighbours afterwards, and a crown that fits perfectly but sits a shade too light is a crown the patient notices in every photograph for the next ten years. She takes the finishing seriously for that reason.
Her approach in the chair is unhurried. Patients are told what is happening and why, in plain terms, before it happens — and if the honest answer is that something can wait, or does not need doing at all, that is what she says. She keeps up with current evidence and technique through continuing professional development, which in practice means the treatment you get is the one that is best supported now, not the one that was standard when she qualified.
A great many of the patients who name a dentist in our Google reviews are describing exactly this: not being rushed, not being sold to, and not being made to feel foolish for having left something a bit too long.

What is true of everyone here
You are treated by a dentist, not a sales desk
Nobody here has a treatment target. If a tooth can be saved we say so, even though an extraction is quicker and simpler for us than a root canal and a crown. If whitening would achieve what you are asking veneers for, we will tell you that too.
You will be told the cost before anything starts

Between us we cover all four. Explain your problem in whichever language you actually think in — nothing about your treatment should get lost in translation, and nobody should have to nod along to something they did not follow.
What we do not do
We do not place implants and we do not fit braces or aligners. If that is what you need we will tell you at the check-up and point you somewhere that does, rather than take your money first.
