Dental check-up in Sharjah
Twenty minutes, and you leave knowing exactly what your mouth needs and what it will cost.
Most people put off the dentist because they do not know what they are walking into — not the treatment, the bill. So we keep the first step simple and the conversation honest.
A check-up takes about twenty minutes. We look at every tooth, your gums, your bite and any old work that may be failing. If something needs doing, we tell you what it is, why it matters, what it costs and what happens if you leave it. If nothing needs doing, we say that too.
You are never pushed into treatment on the day. Take the information home if you want to.
When you need it
- It has been more than a year since anyone looked in your mouth
- Something aches, twinges with cold, or catches your tongue
- Your gums bleed when you brush
- You have been told elsewhere you need work and want a second opinion on the price
- You are about to start whitening, a crown or a denture and need to know the tooth underneath is sound
What happens at the appointment
We listen first
Before anything goes in your mouth we ask what brought you in and what you have noticed. Half the time patients have already worked out where the problem is.
We examine every tooth, not just the sore one
Each tooth, the gums around it, your bite, and any old fillings or crowns that may be failing. Problems rarely arrive one at a time.
We X-ray only if we need to see something
Decay between teeth and infection at the root do not show up by eye. If an X-ray is needed we tell you why and what it costs before we take it.
We tell you the plan and the price
What needs doing, what it costs, what happens if you leave it, and what can safely wait. Written down if you want it.
Afterwards
You are never pushed into treatment on the day. If you would rather take the information home and think about it, that is a normal and sensible thing to do.
If treatment is needed and you want it done straight away, we can usually start the same visit for simple work such as a filling or a scale and polish.
Worth knowing
Why the first step is the cheap one
A check-up is the least expensive thing we do, because it is the thing most people avoid. Fear of the bill keeps people out of the chair until a small problem has quietly become a large one, and by then the treatment costs many times what catching it early would have. Keeping the first step affordable is the only sensible answer to that. If your case needs more than a look — X-rays, for instance — we tell you the cost before we take them.
Common questions
Do I need an appointment?
No, but messaging us on WhatsApp first means your slot is ready when you arrive.
Are X-rays included?
If an X-ray is needed to see the problem properly we will tell you before taking it, along with the cost.
What should I bring?
Your Emirates ID. If you have had recent treatment or X-rays elsewhere, bring those too.
How long does a check-up take?
About twenty minutes. Longer if you have a lot going on or a lot of questions.
Can you check my child?
Yes. Children are welcome and the check-up price is the same.
Not sure what you need?
Just ask.
Message us on WhatsApp with what is bothering you. We will tell you what it is likely to be and what it will cost — before you come in.
