Dentures in Sharjah
A clinic that has been fitting dentures in Sharjah since 1976.
Dentures replace missing teeth so you can chew properly and smile without thinking about it. A partial denture fills gaps between remaining teeth; a full denture replaces a whole arch.
The difference between a denture you tolerate and one you forget you are wearing is the fit. That comes from taking time over the impressions and adjusting properly afterwards — which is where fifty years of doing it matters.
We will see you back for adjustments until it is comfortable. That is part of the treatment, not an extra.
When you need it
- Several missing teeth on the same side
- You avoid certain foods because you cannot chew them
- An old denture that has become loose, sore or cracked
- Remaining teeth are drifting into the gaps
- Your face has started to look sunken around the mouth
What happens at the appointment
Assessment
We look at what teeth remain, the condition of the gum and bone underneath, and whether anything needs treating or removing first. This is also where the price is fixed.
Impressions
Accurate impressions of the ridge. Everything about how a denture feels comes back to how well it was fitted at this stage.
Try-in
A wax try-in so you can see the tooth position, shape and shade and tell us what to change while changing it is still easy.
Fitting and adjustment
The finished denture is fitted, and we expect to see you again for small adjustments. Every denture needs them. A clinic that fits one and does not offer to adjust it has not finished the job.
Afterwards
The first two weeks are an adjustment. Speech feels odd, the denture feels bulky, and you may produce more saliva. All of this settles.
Start with soft food cut small, chewing on both sides at once. Sore spots are normal and are fixed in a two-minute adjustment — do not push through them, and do not adjust it yourself.
Take it out at night, clean it with a brush and denture cleaner rather than toothpaste, and keep it in water so it does not dry out and distort.
Worth knowing
Full, partial and immediate
A full denture replaces all the teeth in one jaw. A partial fills the gaps and clips to the teeth you still have. An immediate denture is made in advance and fitted the same day teeth are removed, so you never appear without them. Which one suits you is an assessment, not a guess, and that is why this is the one treatment on our list without a fixed published price.
Why we quote after looking
Every other price on this website is published because every other treatment is predictable. Dentures are not: the cost depends on how many teeth are being replaced, the material and whether anything needs doing first. What we will promise is that you get the full number in writing before we start, and it does not move afterwards.
Common questions
How long does it take?
Several appointments across a few weeks — impressions, a try-in, the fit, then adjustments.
Will people be able to tell?
A well-made denture looks like teeth. Shade and shape are chosen with you.
What does it cost?
It depends on whether you need partial or full. We will quote you at the assessment, before any work starts.
How long does the whole process take?
Typically two to four weeks and three to four visits, depending on the type.
Can you repair my old denture?
Often yes, and a repair or reline is far cheaper than a replacement. Bring it in and we will tell you honestly which it needs.
Not sure what you need?
Just ask.
Message us on WhatsApp with what is bothering you. We will tell you what it is likely to be and what it will cost — before you come in.
